This 1964 Porsche 356 C Cabriolet is a numbers matching, 2 owner car that is fully documented. It was purchased new on 6/15/1964 from Humphrey Motors Inc. in Hayward California. The first owner kept it until 10/23/1967 when it was then sold to the current owner who also lives here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Documentation includes a copy of the Porsche Kardex showing the first owners name, new purchase order from Humphrey Motors Inc. showing the first owners name, a dated Bill of Sale from the current owner to the first owner, and hundreds of service records from new to present.
The car was driven daily until being put into storage in 1998. It then came to us on 3/3/2018 for a full inspection. The repairs done after the inspection include,
* Fuel tank and fuel system restored.
* Major service performed.
* Brake master cylinder, front and rear rotors, and brake lines replaced,
* Shift linkage rebuilt.
* Steering coupler replaced.
* Axle boots replaced.
* Rear bushings replaced.
* New tires and alignment.
