Vehicle Description
This 1987 Porsche Carrera cabriolet with a 5-speed manual G50 transmission has a guards red exterior and a black leather interior. It is a three owner California car and it has had excellent maintenance and care.
Hi Tec Automotive has been servicing this Carrera since 2008 and some of the previous maintenance includes a complete engine rebuild at 138162 miles which also included replacing the head studs. The transmission was rebuilt and a new clutch was installed at 189641 miles.
Recent servicing includes, rebuilding the rear brake calibers along with new rotors, pads and sensors, replacement of the cooling fan, drivers side seat switch and adjusting the front wheel bearings. A major service was also performed including new spark plug wires, plugs, distributor cap and rotor. The catalytic converter was replaced along with a new oxygen sensor and it just passed California smog.
Engine compression is strong at #1 cylinder @170 #2 @175 #3@170 #4@170 #5@175 and #6@175.
This Carrera cabriolet drives very smoothly and solidly and the excellent maintenance and care shows.
